Charlotte co-manages Citigate Dewe Rogerson in Hong Kong and China and has been with the company since 1996.

In her client work, she provides fully integrated corporate communications programmes to multi-national clients, primarily in the financial and professional services sectors across Asia. Her numerous regional clients have included Bank of America, Prudential, State Street and Cazenove.

Charlotte has handled M&A communications for Macquarie Bank, Oaktree Capital and H&Q AP; Asian market entry for the likes of New Star Asset Management, CMC Markets, Primus Financial, VTB Capital and Threadneedle; global and regional rebranding projects for Bank of Bermuda and MGPA; communications for sensitive people-moves; and numerous financial product launches for many of the world’s best known financial brands, including HSBC, Baring Asset Management, Calyon and Schroders.

Charlotte has developed a highly tailored media training workshop for Citigate and has trained hundreds of senior executives.

Jasmine Yap
Co-Managing Director

Jasmine co-manages Citigate Dewe Rogerson in Hong Kong and China and has been with the company since 2005. She advises corporate and transaction clients on public relations and financial media strategy, drawing on her experience as a former Bloomberg journalist, financial analyst and foreign exchange and bond trader.

Among her clients are 3i, Asian Public Real Estate Association, Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management, LaSalle Investment Management, MGPA, Mirae Asset and State Street Corporation. She advised K. Wah Construction Materials on its acquisition of Galaxy Casino of Macau and Hutchison Telecom on its buyout of Hutchison Global Communications. She was also involved in the IPO transactions of The Link REIT, Sands China and Wynn Macau.

Prior to joining Citigate, Jasmine covered the property, utilities, retail and tourism sectors for Bloomberg in Hong Kong and was also a reporter for BridgeNews in Singapore. She has also worked as a financial analyst for MCM Asia Pacific and as a trader in foreign exchange and equity index futures for OCBC Banking Group.

Alphae Chen
Director and Head of Shanghai

Alphae leads Citigate’s team in Shanghai. With over nine years public relations experience from both global consultancies and a large US bank, Alphae has handled the communications for China-based corporations such as Bank of Communications, China Mobile and West China Cement, and multinationals operating in China such as Citi China, State Street Corporation, IBM, Wrigley, BP, Mead Johnson, UPS, AlixPartners, and Treasury Holdings.

Agnes Zhao
Head of Beijing

Agnes leads Citigate’s team in Beijing and has been with the company since 2007. With a Masters in linguistics from Tsinghua University and over 6 years experience in communications and marketing, Agnes has handled the PR for a wide range of China based clients, such as ICBC, China Life Insurance, Bank of Communications and China Pacific Insurance. Agnes also handles multinationals operating in China, such as State Street Corporation, BlackRock, 3i, Oaktree Capital, AlixPartners and LaSalle Investment Management.
